In this portion of her interview with Ty Jackson of Out Of The Gate, survivor Cheryl Hersha Beck remembers her ordeal at the hands of Josef Mengele. Please be aware this material is upsetting.

“I was this submissive so they wanted to train me up to be a child seductress assassin. From Camp Grayling they’ve determined what they’re going to use us in.
“We’re taken up to the upper peninsula of Michigan to a place called Little Girl Point, overlooking one of the Great Lakes, on a cliff. And we’re pulled out of the back of the station wagon.
“We’d been drugged again for the journey we weren’t in cages, we were just laying in the back of this station wagon.
“I’m taken over to this place on the cliff edge. It’s at night. The men are dressed in robes and I’m tied down to these stakes on the ground, naked spread eagle.
“And this man comes up and they say, this is your Väterchen [father/“daddy”] you are to call him Väterchen. [Note: This word also means “the state,” like “the Fatherland.]
“‘Say it, say Väterchen, tell him you love him.’ ‘I love you Väterchen.
“‘Väterchen’ turned out to be Joseph Mengele.
“He takes me and he dislocates my shoulders and my hips or the femurs out of my hips and this causes excruciating pain and he methodically rapes me saying ‘Pain is pleasure and pleasure is pain.’
“The thing that freaked me out the most about him was not so much the rape that was going on or the limb dislocation but his eyes were large and black and there was nothing in them. It was like looking into a corpse.
“Then when he was done he put my arms and legs back into joint.
“There was a mining sluice set up that extended out over the cliff and they tied a rope around my chest. It was on a winding spindle on the side, like fire hoses are wound up.
“They tied that around me and then they sent me, they had greased that sluice and I went flying off the sluice and out into the cold water.
“And Joseph Mengele said, ‘You’re little girl now little girl must learn how to fly.’
“I went off the sluice and down and that water is ice cold and it’s black and it’s churning water and there’s rocks in the water protruding and I just knew I was gonna die. When I hit the water it knocked your breath out.
“I can remember being in this freezing water and thinking yeah I’m dying and I couldn’t move the water was so cold.
“I couldn’t even fight against it to come up to the surface and they let me stay in that water until they didn’t feel any resistance on the line and then they reeled me back up.
“I remember kind of being semi-conscious coming back up the cliff that’s the initial programming of what they call the alpha alter of MKULTRA programming.
“It’s the core alter from which they will pull all the other alters out from and her name is ‘little girl.’
“That’s when you learn how to dissociate you have the feeling of flying off the cliff so when they queue up little girl she gets the feeling of flying.
“And she dissociates and leaves the body and you’re kind of looking at your body while they create another altar while you’re on the table.
“So it’s a splitting of consciousness and they will go on to create the next altar they want to create which is done through sedative hypnotics and psychic driving programming where the tape plays over and over and over again reading the script of what you’re supposed to be.
“When you can answer as to being that alter in a different voice and demonstrating the characteristics then they know the program is set, and then they usually give you a large electric shock to wipe out your memory and seal in that alter state programming.”
